The project is inspired by my experience of fever dreams, in which the visions are often vivid and bizarre. When I was a kid, whenever I got a fever, I always dreamt of being submerged in stuff and suddenly woke up with a start. A particular scenario that I remember is that things fell down and buried me. This overwhelming and suffocating feeling almost became a nightmare to me that lingered for years. By transferring this terrifying memory of dream into artwork, I find it no longer scary to me as it turns out to be something more interesting.
